Over one third of Polish companies declare that they experience delays in invoice payments – show the results of the First National Research on Circulation of Cost Invoices. The delays mainly result from the problems with financial liquidity, the large number of invoices and inappropriate invoice management practices.
Delays in payments also result from low awareness of the companies and their employees regarding working with invoices. In over a half of Polish companies, the employees don’t know what to do with invoices, find no time for describing and accepting the cost (48%) or simply lose invoices (36%).
337 organizations operating in Poland, representing the most important branches of economy, of various sizes and legal form, took part in the research Circulation of Cost Invoices. This is the first and only such study in Poland, which shows the trends and practices within the Polish companies in terms of cost invoice circulation.
